I am a mom, wife, daughter, friend, philanthropist and designer. I love ice cream, cheesecake, red wine and laughing (like a LOT).
I was that 12 year old girl who saved every penny of her babysitting money to buy wallpaper borders (it was the early 90s!), designer fabric, and brass beds to re-decorate her room. The girl that couldn't sit on a couch if a rooms' furnishings weren't balanced. I am still that girl.
I am passionate about making your home a place to make memories and laugh (like a LOT).
A firm belief guides every project at Lisa Clark Design - people over possessions. My philosophy is client centred interior design focusing on functionality, beauty and longevity.
Attention to detail throughout the process including full storyboards, open communication with client and contractors and transparency with fees and billing.

This is our first meet and greet! We take an in-depth look into your requirements to establish your needs and wants. I will offer preliminary recommendations and ideas for your space and discuss budget. This is charged as a flat rate consultation with options to continue our relationship for full project services.
After our initial meeting, you will be provided with a fee proposal and contract outlining the services that will be provided. After your design retainer is received, I begin your schematic design.
Here I piece together your requirements and create a layout that will be efficient and functional. I will also provide you with a conceptual storyboard for your review. This may include 3D renderings to better communicate concepts.
After approval of the schematic design, I will begin to solidify each room from floor to ceiling with finishes and custom millwork design, including all corresponding drawings, elevations and details. Samples of finishes will be provided for review.
Here I will make any requested revisions to your plan, which could include revisions to custom millwork, furnishings or material selections. Your final design binder will be delivered to you and your contractors so that you can begin obtaining bids on all aspects of your design.
Many things come up during construction and changes may need to be addressed. I will work closely with you and your trades to ensure proper execution of the project. This may include price change notices and change orders. I am available every step of the way to provide answers and solutions, including site visits and peace of mind. After the dust has settled, I return to stage/install and take photographs of your beautiful new space!
